Rockbridge Hunt will host a few trail rides this spring and summer. Our goal is one ride per month.
Rockbridge Hunt members will not pay a fee. Riding members of MFHA-insured hunts will not pay a fee. Other guests will pay a fee of fifteen dollars ($15) per person, one time for the year. If these guests attend additional rides, they will not pay an additional fee.
Please be on your horse and ready to start at the stated time.
We'll be riding through typical hunt territory. There are hills and mud and creeks and ditches and bridges.
Proper riding footwear is essential. Wearing a riding helmet is strongly encouraged. Because of the hills, your horse may benefit from wearing a breastplate.
We will generally split into two groups.
Please bring something to drink for yourself and your horse. After the ride we'll usually have an informal tailate. Bring a snack to share if it's convenient.
