Divisions:
Hunter Optimum - Series
Hunter Optimum - Nonseries
Hunter Optimum - Junior (a junior and an adult may ride together)
Hilltopper
Hilltopper - Junior (a junior and an adult may ride together)
Trail
Trail - Junior (a junior and an adult may ride together)

Course:
There will be gates to go around all jumps. Optimum and Hilltopper divisions will ride a course about 7 to 10 miles long. Trail divisions will ride a shorter course. In the Optimum divisions, speed will simulate a day's hunting and will be set by Rockbridge Hunt staff members riding the course. In the Hilltopper and Trail divisions the speed will be somewhat slower.

Start times:
The first team will start on course at 11:00 a.m. The last team will start on course no later than 1:00 p.m.

Awards:
Ribbons will be presented for first through sixth place in each division.

Entry fees: (includes lunch for riders)
$30 per horse / adult rider
$20 per horse / junior rider
$5 per lunch for non-riders

Lunch will be served outdoors from 12:30 to 3:00 p.m. and will feature grilled chicken. You are likely to be sitting on hay bales or on the ground. Casual attire is appropriate. Lunch will not be available after 3:00 - plan your ride accordingly!

Directions:
From Lexington and further north: Take Interstate 81 South to Interstate 64 West. Just as you leave 81 you will take the first exit off of I-64, Exit 55 for Lexington. (This is the exit for the Virginia Horse Center.) Turn left onto Rt 11 South. Proceed through three traffic lights. After crossing a bridge over the Maury River, the road forks. Stay to the left on Rt 11 Bypass. At the next traffic light continue straight ahead onto Rt 251 toward Collierstown and Lake Roberson. To repeat, at this fourth traffic light; Rt 11 will turn - stay straight onto Rt 251. This will become Collierstown Road. Proceed about four miles. Cross the bridge over Buffalo Creek and immediately turn left onto Cedar Hill Church Road (Route 675). At "T" intersection (there is no stop sign) turn right onto Broadview driveway. Proceed past the stone house, through the barnyard, and park in the field beyond.

From Natural Bridge and further south: Take Interstate 81 North to Exit 180 (one of two Natural Bridge exits) and go north on Route 11 (Lee Highway). Turn left on Possum Hollow Road (Route 764) and continue to the stop sign. Turn left on Collierstown Road (Route 251) and follow above directions.
