Directions: From Interstate 81, take exit 180, (one of two Natural Bridge exits) and go north on Route 11 for about 1.3 miles. Turn right on Falling Spring Road (Route 680). After about 1.3 miles turn left on Montafon Lane. Drive to the end of the lane, near the house. After you pass the barn (on your left), park in the pasture on the left.

Awards: Ribbons will be awarded for first through sixth places, with two ribbons per team placing in each division. In addition, the team with the most points in optimum division for all three of the Adjacent Hunt Series will be awarded a trophy.

Teams: Teams will consist of two riders. (Three entries may ride together but only two will be timed and eligible for awards. Un-judged riders must also pay entry fee.) If entries warrant a junior division, junior pairs may be accompanied by an adult, un-judged entry. Juniors under the age of twelve must be accompanied by an adult entry on horseback.

Optimum division: The course will be about 7-10 miles over rolling terrain with many jumps. Most of the jumps will be coops, three feet or less in height. There will be gates near all jumps. The pace should simulate a day of hunting and will average about 7-8 miles per hour.

Hilltopper division: The course will be about 7-10 miles over rolling terrain. Jumps are optional. The pace will average about 6 miles per hour.

Trail division: The course will be about 5 miles over rolling terrain with no jumps. The pace will average about 4 miles per hour.

If entries warrant, divisions will be split.

Winning Time for the Optimum division will be set by members of the Rockbridge Hunt staff riding the course and will be announced after the last entries finish.

Start times: The first team will start at 11:00 a.m. The last team will start no later than 1:00 p.m.
