Hunt twice a week from September through March; about 45 days per year.

Average expenditure by Rockbridge Hunt for each day of hunting is $1200.

Hunt, Inc. lot owners are offered a social membership free of charge and hunting privilege fees are reduced by this amount.

Privileges for Rockbridge Hunt Members

• Members may use the Tex Tilson Lodge. Any products used should be replenished and the facility should be left clean and tidy for the next use. Any donation to the Rockbrige Hunt hounds will be appreciated; $100 is suggested as appropriate. For scheduling please see Carol Atwood.
• Stalls in the Hunt's barn may be available for short term use. Stalls should be left clean and ready. For scheduling please see David Conner.
• The riding ring may be used. For scheduling please see Carol Atwood.
• Rockbridge Hunt members have no rights to be on private property other than that 20 acre parcel owned by the Rockbridge Hunt, Inc.
• The Rockbridge Hunt, Inc. is a lot owner in The Hunt, Inc. land subdivision. The private property owned by Hunt, Inc. designated as common areas may be used by Rockbridge Hunt, Inc. and its members with the same privileges and restrictions that apply to other Hunt, Inc. lot owners.
• Rockbridge Hunt members, as indiviuals, have no rights to be on privatly owned land. Members are invited onto private property only as participants of an authorized Rockbridge Hunt event; otherwise members must obtain permission independent of the Rockbridge Hunt.

Becoming a Rockbridge Hunt member

• Come as a guest of a member or make arrangements with the Master of FoxHounds.
• For hunting privilege membership an individual must participate at least two times in a Rockbridge Hunt foxhunt.
• An applicant must have at least two letters of recommendation from current Rockbridge Hunt members.
• Get an affirmative vote from the Rockbridge Hunt Executive Committee.
• For hunting privilege membership a one time initiation fee of $300.00 is paid in addition to dues. Any capping fee paid during the current season will be applied toward dues.
• Landowners with important acreage are given a family hunting membership, with no fee, in appreciation for allowing foxhunting on their land. Other members and their guests are invited on these tracts only in the course of recognized Rockbridge Hunt events.
